Accessibility
C-mine expedition offers limited access for wheelchair users or people with a mobility issue. The ascent of the pit tower is stairs only, but an alternative route is clearly signposted.
Attention wheelchair users: for practical reasons, we ask you kindly to contact contact C-mine visitor center before purchasing your ticket to make sure that the lift can be reserved. After all, several wheelchair users cannot be booked simultaneously: maximum 2 wheelchair users per group.
Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult when entering the platform on the pit tower.
Advice
In rainy weather, we recommend wearing appropriate clothing and footwear, as the hallways can get rather wet.
Rates C-mine expedition
- €10 for adults
- Entrance is free for children under 6 years
- €6 children aged 6 to 18 & students (secondary education, colleges and universities, on presentation of a student card)
- €8 for people with disabilities, over-60s and groups of minimum 10 people
Rates for family game ‘Where’s Cyriel the Cricket?’
- €4 for children under 6 years
- €10 fas of 6 years
This includes access to C-mine expeditie (C-mine Expedition)
Rates for group visits
- €8 per person
- €6 per person (schools and youth groups) - €1 per person for schools and youth groups located in Genk
- €80 per Dutch speaking guide (max. 15 people)
- €90 for a guide in English, German and French
Would you like to visit C-mine expedition with a group outside regular opening hours? The entrance fee is a minimum of €400 (for up to 50 people), from the 51st person it’s €8 per extra person. This offer is not available on Monday mornings.
